Inaugurated on August 2, 1984, the Fátima WAX MUSEUM remains a premier destination for exploring the rich history of Fátima, bringing to life 100 years of this sacred place’s story. Reflecting on its 35 years of operation, the museum not only showcases the history of Fátima, from its origins to the most recent visit of Pope Francis, but also immerses visitors in the experience, allowing them to truly “feel” the events. Life-size wax figures, dressed in period-specific attire, are placed within an immersive environment of light and sound, creating a vivid physical and temporal setting.

The museum showcases 32 scenes with 120 life-like wax figures, each carefully crafted to capture the authenticity of the historical events. The figures are placed in a thoughtfully designed, almost lifelike setting, providing visitors with a truly unique and unforgettable experience.
